2018 Jam
The 2018 Jam took place Friday, January 26 to Sunday, January 28th in the Brown School of Business, rooms SB 306, 101, and 102. In total we had 30 participants and guests, and four games. Two were story based games, one was a Flash game, and one was developed on Unity. Most of our participants came to the event with zero programming experience. Together they worked to used their skills in art, story telling, film making, html, film, audio, and programming to create four fully playable games and one 3D interactive room. 5pm: Onsite registration and mingling.
6pm: Keynote Speaker & Theme Announcement
6:30pm: Dinner & Brainstorming
Dinner will be provided.
7:45pm: Idea Sharing & Team Forming.
8:00pm: Planning & Creating
The entirety of Saturday is dedicated to working on game development. Our location will be open from 11 - 7pm, where you will have hosts there to help you with any gaming questions or needs. We encourage working with your group onsite as much as possible, but will have a server where you can access group work remotely.
Snacks provided.
10:00am: Teams begin coming together to work on final parts of game on site.

1:00pm: Teams should begin uploading available materials to GGJ site as they become finished.
4:00pm: Games due to Global Game Jam. Complete all uploads. Begin practice for presentation.
4:30pm: Presentations begin followed by game play!
